The Bethlehem Express Leaves Wed Dec 18th!

Dear Doug, The Bethlehem Express will be one night only!   Be sure to come and catch one of 4 'trains' tomorrow night, Wed. December 18th!  The 1st train departs @ 6pm; the last train departs @ 7:15pm.     There will be crafts, carols, refreshments and the Christmas Story.  The program will be outdoors so bundle up and prepare to make some memories! Don't miss it!

Students who are interested in playing feel free to sign up or talk to Mr. Clemmons.  Sign ups begin Monday, Dec. 16, 2013. Submit Photos to the Yearbook!  The Yearbook needs your photos from activities such as fieldtrips, volleyball, outdoor education, etc. Here's how to submit them:   Go to Calvary's website "www.calvaryslz.org" then click "Share your Photos" (bottom, center)   OR   Send email to Doug Henry (dhenry@calvaryslz.org) with information on how to access them from your photo site.  OR   Fill out the Yearbook Photo Submission form and bring your medium (disk, memory card, photos, etc) to your child's teacher.   Yearbook Photo Submission Form     Thank you for your photos!   The Yearbook Crew      There are so many wonderful people who made Calvary's 2nd annual Craft Faire such a huge success and we were blessed to have every table filled with so many amazing handmade treats from baked goods and soap to hats and scarves and so many more. Thank you...Cindy Suppus for helping to organize the event, Blenda and Paul Schultz, and Dwight Heggins for decorations, Calvary Club children for moving tables, Karla Regnier for the food and much more.  Thank you to Scott Suppus for signs, Miss America for serving food and for all the parent volunteers.  Congratulations to the 3rd and 4th grade; they sold the most raffle tickets and they have won a pizza party for their class!  We also had lots of raffle prize winners too.  Please come to Calvary Club to claim your prize. Join Us - Soup Supper & Christmas Program Wed. 12/11

Greetings! Join us this Wednesday, December 11th   for our Soup Supper at 5:30, and our 3rd - 8th grade Christmas Program @ 7pm. We invite everyone to this program--preschool through 8th, will enjoy this performance!  The Band will play, the choir will sing, the New Song Chimes and the Calvary Ringers will play and there will be selected readings by some of our students.  Come have a warm meal with friends, get in the Christmas spirit and enjoy some hot cocoa after the program.

'Celebration of Life' Service for Holly Contier There will be a 'Celebration of Life' Service for Holly Contier, who was the much-beloved Church Secretary here at Calvary for many years.  The service will be Sunday, December 8th, at 4:30.  There will be a potluck following the service; for those wishing to bring a dish, A - M please bring a salad, and N to Z please bring a dessert. Enriched Student Experience (ESE) Volunteer & PPP Opportunity The ESE Program provides individual or small group assistance to children requiring support with their math and literacy skills in the regular educational program. Hot Lunch Reminder

Calvary's Hot Lunch Program Begins this Friday, 12/6... have you signed up in MySchoolWorx? Follow the steps below to order. Once you have logged in and you are at the dashboard, click on the Lunch Bag icon. Click on the link near the right-center of the screen that reads 'Next Week (December 02 - December 06)' After you click on the week of Dec. 2nd - 6th, you should see a hot lunch menu listed for Friday, Dec. 6th.  Please click on the word 'Edit.' Make your selection, note the total for your child's lunch and click 'Save.'  Select lunches for your child through Jan. 17th (the end of 2nd Quarter).
