We still have a small number of extra books.  Please contact the school office to buy one - $20:  510-278-2598.   First come, first served.    Box Top Winners   1st Place - 7th & 8th Grade with 561!  They win a free dress day on Monday, 6/2!   2nd Place - 3rd & 4th Grade with 319!   3rd Place - 1st & 2nd Grade with 244!   4th Place - Kindergarten with 138!   Great Job Everyone!   It appears that we have enough students, but please continue to fill out this form so we may plan for staffing needs.  Picnic attire must be in good taste. No swimsuits; opaque t-shirts must not be see-through, shorts are acceptable or a swimsuit worn under t-shirt and shorts, with water shoes or flip flops--no bare feet.    We still need some volunteers to help with the set up, the snow cones, popcorn machine, dunk tank and bounce house and with clean up. Sign up sheet is between 1st/2nd room and Kindergarten. A great PPP opportunity. Spread new bark in area behind overflow room Remove and replace rotting fascia, along front of Admin. Building   Major repairs   The South wall of the overflow room needs attention 1.    Remove rotting fascia 2.    Replace backed out nails with screws and seal 3.    Prime and paint wall panels 4.    Replace fascia and paint         PPP Jobs for 2014-15              Librarian - help students check out books once a week.   Sign Board (on 2-story bldg) - update messages.   Lost & Found - reunite clothing with owner, donate un-named clothing to charity.   Recycle Empty Toner Cartridges - contact office for details.   Fundraiser Coordinator - Coordinate fundraisers with principal and parent group.   These jobs will fulfill all 20 hours. Parents' Meeting Info - Summer Camp Cancelled

Calvary Lutheran School Greetings! Here is a quick update on a few things that can't wait until our next newsletter!  Summer Camp Has Been Cancelled for 1st - 9th Grade  Sadly, there were not enough students signed up for Summer Camp.  We will offer Calvary Club as long as we have 6 or more students enrolled per week. Please contact Ms. Kim before May 30th so we have a headcount. Normal rates apply--$5/hour or $35/day. There is still time to sign up for Preschool Summer School for preschool through Kindergarten students. We need your deposit in as soon as possible. Upcoming Parents' Meeting Tues. 5/27 @ 6:30 Conf. Rm  Topics to be discussed include: The upcoming school-wide free picnic on Thursday, June 5th Plans for next year's parent group      Calvary's End-of-Year Picnic is Thursday, June 5th, not Wednesday.
