40 Days. Countless lives changed. This season of Lent, our congregation's journey can be the beginning of a better future for communities in need around the world! Reach out as Christ's hands with Lutheran World Relief through these special opportunities that will provide basic sanitation & hygiene items for families coping with some of life's most difficult situations. in places like the Philippines, Personal Care Kits allow families who have lost their personal belongings in devastating typhoons to stay healthy and clean and preserve personal dignity. Each week during Lent we will collect items to assemble and send to Lutheran World Relief The collection schedule is a s followes February 22nd:  Bars of Soap March 1st : Bath Towels (light weight max 52"X27" dark colors) March 8th : Toothbrushes March 15th : Combs March 22nd : Nail Clippers (metal, attached nail file optional) March 29th (Palm Sunday) : Bars of Soap You may bring in the items in any order on any day. We will be packing them up to send out the week after Easter. Thank you for helping to support those in need.

Message from Dr. Chivalette, Monday, March 2, 2015

Calvary Lutheran School Important Message  Monday, March 2, 2015  Greetings and Blessings!         I want to keep everyone appraised regarding our re-enrollment status for 2015-2016 school year.  Presently, we have 82 students re-enrolled for next year which exceeds the numbers of previous years at this time.  In fact, CLS ended last year with 92 students and currently we have 127 students enrolled.         If you have yet to re-enroll for the upcoming school year and would like to speak with the school office or Dr. Chivalette, please contact Mrs. Schibler at (510) 278-2598 to set a time either in person or by phone.  Again, if we are able to assist you in any way, please do not hesitate to contact the office.        The one-year strategic plan has been presented via email with hard copies available in the office.  Our three and five year strategic plans will be made available at the end of March.  We have something very special here at Calvary and we want you to continue to be a part of it.   In His Grace, Dr. Michael Hemme Chivalette Superintendent           Calvary Lutheran School 17200 Via Magdalena San Lorenzo, CA  94580 (510) 278-2598
