Message from Dr. Chivalette, Thursday, April 2, 2015

Calvary Lutheran School

Important Message

Thursday, April 2, 2015

Dear CLS families and friends,

He has risen.  He has risen indeed!  Easter is a time for every believer in Christ to rejoice in the fact that our Lord Jesus Christ death and resurrection offers salvation and eternal life to all who put their trust in Him as Savior and Lord (Matthew 28:1-10).

Easter is also symbolic of spring which seems to be almost every day in Northern California which is awesome.  As we now approach our annual Easter break we want to keep all of our families and constituents apprised of recent happenings and future plans for Calvary Lutheran School.

  • As of this morning, ninety-nine (99) students have enrolled for the upcoming year from a total of one-hundred and twenty five (125) students of which eleven (11) are eighth graders soon to graduate from CLS. Eight of the students are new students who will begin next fall.  This is equivalent to 81% of our students returning for the 2015-2016 year.
  • Recently, one of our school parents helped us to procure 12 brand new computer monitors to be used in each of our classrooms.
  • You will see an attachment to this letter which enables each CLS family to review our
  • Completed strategic plans for years two through five.  Previously, the one-year plan was forwarded to all families today.  Copies for years one, two-three, and four-five are listed below.

Additional copies are available in the school office.

Have a wonderful Easter and enjoy the great weather that God provides for us in Northern California!

In His Grace,

Dr. Michael Hemme Chivalette

Superintendent

"He wants not only us but everyone saved, you know, everyone to get to know the truth we've learned: that there's one God and only one, and one Priest-Mediator between God and us-Jesus, who offered himself in exchange for everyone held captive by sin, to set them all free. Eventually the news is going to get out. This and this only has been my appointed work: getting this news to those who have never heard of God, and explaining how it works by simple faith and plain truth."             (1 Tim.2:5-6)
