E-Waste Collection Fundraiser - January 2012 OWL Youth Group - Update for Tonight, 1/13  'One With the Lord' Youth Group will meet in Fremont at Prince of Peace to support the Varsity Basketball Team in the Mission Peak Tournament.  Go Cougars!    Fun & Fellowship for 6th - 8th Grades  (6pm - 8pm)   OWL Calendar Sept-Jan 2011-12 OWL Calendar Feb-June 2012  No School Monday 1/16   Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday Observed   There is no school next Monday, 1/16.  Enjoy the day off while remembering and celebrating the life and achievements of  Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  A Schedule Change for Handbell Choirs New Song Chimes will now meet on Wed. 7:30am - 8:10am Calvary Ringers will now meet on Fri. 7:30am - 8:10 These changes will begin starting next week (Jan. 16th)   The Annual Spelling Bee Friday, January 20th Click on the link for times and details.  The Spelling Bee 2011-12 Destined to Dance - Classes start Monday, 1/23 ***Jazz, Hip-Hop, Praise Dance, Modern, Ballet, Zumba & Creative Dance***     It's not too late to sign up.  Please see below links for details and registration. Calvary Club Highlight   Treats on Tuesday, 1/17 - Birthday Cupcakes! Yum! Box Tops It's that time again!  Send your box tops to your child's class no later than Wednesday, 1/18.  Continue to check that the expiration date has not passed.  The class with the most box tops will receive a baked treat.  Thank you for your support.  Calvary received a check for $287.30 from Box Tops.  Way to go, Calvary!   Don't Forget to Pick Up Your Child's ID Card Parents - pick up your child's Childsafe ID Card in the school office.  These picture ID cards are courtesy of Lifetouch Photography.    Calvary Student Receives National Recognition The National Young Scholars Program recently recognized William Misinale (4th) for demonstrating academic excellence, leadership potential and maturity even at a young age.
