Oct. 20th   8am - 3pm  Don't need a whole table but want to get rid of a few things?  Donate them to the CPA table at the Rummage Sale!     Have fun and earn a PPP hour or two by helping at the Rummage Sale.      Help sell items from the CPA table or help sell items from the lunch table.            Calvary   Youth Groups  'The Experience' is our Youth Group for 9th-12th graders.  They meet every Sunday night from 6pm-8pm in the Youth Room.  On Oct. 19th, they are going on a special outing to a corn maze! One With the Lord (OWL) is our Youth Group for 6th-8th graders.  They meet every other Friday night from 6pm-8pm in the Youth Room.  On Oct. 19th, they are going to the movies. The Experience Calendar - October 2012 OWL Calendar for 2012-13 Secret Sister Brunch - Sunday, Oct 21st @ 11am   The Secret Sisters will be meeting for brunch on Sunday, Oct. 21st at 11am.     Come and find out who has been your secret sister for last several months, and get a new secret sister.      Bring a friend and join us for church and a Bible study before the brunch!            Dining for Dollar$ at Rigatoni's The next Dining for Dollar$ will be at Rigatoni's on Hesperian on Tuesday, Oct. 23rd.     Rigatoni's will donate 20% of the proceeds back to our school.  Click on the flyer for details.   Dining for Dollar$ - Rigatoni's 2012      Walk for Cans & 2nd Qtr Chapel Offering - Making a Difference in our Community Money from Chapel Offering from Oct. 22nd through Nov. 17th, along with canned goods from Walk for Cans will be given to our local food bank. Teachers will be conducting conferences beginning Thurs. 10/25 from 3:15 to 6pm, and Fri. 10/26 from 8am to noon.  ______________________________________________________________________ SLZHOA Halloween Extravaganza!                            Saturday, October 27th 9:30 am-1:30 pm It's time to have some fun! On Saturday, October 27th, there is a fun event for kids and families in the San Lorenzo Library parking lot. There are booths, games, prizes, and costume parades for the kids.   Calvary will have a booth there again this year, and we are inviting you to help in sharing CLS with our community. The parade event begins at 9:30 am and the booths open at 10:30 am.     Come lend a hand in sharing Calvary Lutheran School in a fun and exciting costumed environment. Come in your favorite kid-friendly Halloween costume and help us hand out prizes; including candy, pencils, etc. Contact your classroom teacher and sign up for an hour or two. The time blocks are 9:30-10:30, 10:30-11:30, 11:30-12:30, or 12:30-1:30.
