RE: Staff Changes at CLS for 2015-16

Dear Calvary School Parents,

Greetings in the Name of the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

I wanted to begin by thanking you for entrusting your most precious gift to us - your student!  I consider the education of your child(ren) to be a Sacred trust.  It is my intention that Calvary should provide the highest possible educational experience at a reasonable cost.

You may recall that at the beginning of the last school year I asked for you to trust me with the changes we were making to enhance the education of your student.  Those changes included a "new" Superintendent, three new teachers (including Dr. C.) and an update to our tuition structure.  Ambitious changes that God blessed!

Dr. Chivalette has been a tremendous addition to our school!  He has the respect and love of the students.  He taught numerous classes, developed a 5-year plan for Calvary and is constantly seeking ways to improve the educational experience of the students!  He "hit the ground running" when he arrived and did an exceptional job!  Also, he dealt with a turnover of staff that was larger than planned.  He was pro-active and secured teachers with exceptional hearts and education skills to replace those who are no longer with us!  Lastly, he restructured our Pre-School program to provide a greater academic element for our younger students.

Your students are going to receive an even better educational experience than when you first registered them at Calvary!  That is SO important, let me say it again! Your students are going to receive an even better educational experience than when you first registered them at Calvary!

I believe that we have an "All-Star" team of teachers!  They are a positive, educated, compassionate group who will seek to bring out the very best in your student!

While I know that change can be a concern, especially when you are considering the education of your child, I take the education of your child(ren) as seriously as you do.  I am going to ask you to trust me for one more year!  I am excited about the changes we have made.  I believe that they are in the best interest of your child and for Calvary's future.  While a teacher's name may be different and a class may be in a different room, the quality environment and education is going to be even better!

Thank you for your time.  I look forwarding seeing you at our back to school events.

Your Servant in Christ,

Pastor Kelly Smith
