October, 17th. The class with the most box tops turned in will receive a Free Dress Pass! The class with the most Labels for Education turned in will receive a homemade treat! Parents, please don't mix the two labels.    ______________________________________________________________________ Walk for Cans   Saturday, October 27, 2012 is the national Make a Difference Day.     A day devoted to helping others by doing volunteer work.   Calvary Lutheran School will be participating in its own Make a Difference Day on Tuesday, October 30, 2012.   Calvary Lutheran School students will be walking for food donations to be made to a local food pantry. Each class will be walking or running for a thirty minute period around a 1/5 mile course set up on the school grounds. It takes an adult about three minutes to walk the course. Each child is to get sponsors who will donate non- perishable food items or money they have pledged per lap .   Between now and October 30 please help your child get sponsors. Then October 31 - November 13 bring your collected donations to your child's classroom. Although the Pre-School is not walking they will be collecting donations in their classroom.   The class with the most donations will receive FREE DRESS.   Several parents will be needed to help with the walk, earn PPP hours.
