New classroom technology - Interactive (Smart) Boards & iPads. International Foreign Exchange Program - sharing our faith, family and education with students from overseas. And don't forget our ESE Program - we will be expanding the already popular and successful ESE Program, giving students tutoring to help them meet and exceed their goals. Calvary Club & MySchoolWorx - 6/7/13

Dear Friends,   We at Calvary Lutheran School are upgrading our school communication and tuition collection systems by joining with 'myschoolworx', an online tuition management/administration/teacher-family communication system.  A $45 annual per family service fee will continue to be assessed.   The transition time is taking a little longer than anticipated and we apologize for that.    We are canceling all SMART tuition accounts and we are asking that all families who are paying their tuition over twelve (12) months to please make their June tuition payment in the office no later than June 30.   If you have not returned the SMART contract, please do so today, so that we have all of the current information to set up the 'myschoolworx' account.   This is an exciting advancement for Calvary Lutheran School and we are glad that you are able to share in this giant step forward into the 21st Century Technology of communication.   Again, I apologize for the inconvenience this may cause you and I appreciate your understanding.       Sincerely,                               Marjorie Luehrs                                                                                                                           Marjorie Luehrs Vice Principal Calvary Lutheran School                                                                                                   ************************************************* Calvary Club will be available from Monday, June 10th to Friday, June 28th! Calvary Lutheran School Information - 6/5/13

Due to the necessary adjustment to our Summer School Program, we have been informed that some of our parents are in need of summer daycare for the month of June. Please indicate below your needs and return by tomorrow so that we may attempt to accommodate our families. Voter Information

Greetings!   To the Congregation at Calvary Lutheran Church, San Lorenzo:   In regards to the voting eligibility of voting members of the church, we will follow the instructions stated below for voting purposes only until the new Constitution becomes ratified by the District Constitution Committee.  I have been advised by District that it could take 2-3 months more for them to look at it. It was received by District on 14 Nov. 2012.   Because our Church operates under the Board of Governance, we will use the 2010 unratified Constitution and By-Laws  for the operation of the Church.  I have checked with District and this is acceptable.   I apologize for any confusion in the past that has occurred as to which Constitution we are using.   "Voting Membership as of the 1983 Constitution and By-Laws   Article 2:  Voting Membership Section 1.  Eligibility Any communicant member of this congregation who is 18 years of age or over, male or female, shall be eligible to apply for Voting Membership.  Such application shall be made at a regular Voters' Meeting of the congregation.  Upon affirmation by the applicant that he has read and understands the Constitution and By-Laws, and of his intention to fulfill such duties as are required of a Voting Member to the best of his ability, he shall be accepted as a Voting Member with all the rights and privileges pertaining thereto.  He shall be required to sign the official copy of the Constitution and By-Laws of the Congregation at the time of his acceptance into Voting Membership."   Thank you for your understanding.   Blessings,   Barbara Adams, President of Board of Governance       Calvary Lutheran Church & School
