Please Note: This is the last 2015-16 CLS News & Events until August 5, 2016. There may be further information coming from your teacher regarding school supplies and other information. Further information will be coming regarding School Beautification Day, which is Saturday, August 20, 2016 (9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon). Remember, this is a great way to kick off the new school year deducting those PPP hours, helping your classroom look clean and fresh as well as having our school campus look great, ready for a new start. In addition, take this opportunity to also help your teacher, get reacquainted with returning students and meet some new students who will be in your grade for the 2016-17 school year. |

ENROLLMENT & RE-ENROLLMENT INFORMATION FOR THIS COMING SCHOOL YEAR If you have not yet RE-enrolled for the 2016-17 school year, please download the forms at the bottom of this page. You may also speak to the school secretary and she will be able to assist you.
Meanwhile, if you know a family who is interested in attending Calvary Lutheran School, please have them contact the school secretary to receive an information packet, set-up an appointment to take a tour, or they may also be able to shadow one of our students. If they enroll and attend CLS for at least one semester, they will receive a "family referral discount!" In addition, you will receive a "family referral discount" as well.
We have information available to you in the office regarding the possibilities of applying for tuition assistance through Calvary and/or an outside source.  IMPORTANT NOTES & REMINDERS
CLS IS A PEANUT/TREE NUT FREE SCHOOL CAMPUS: We have several students who are extremely sensitive to any and all peanut/tree nut products and this is very dangerous to their health and well-being. Some students could even have such a severe reaction to nuts that it becomes life threatening. Please do not send your child to school with any snacks or lunches that have peanuts or are from a tree nut. These types of snacks and lunches might be reserved for something special, like a special treat at home.

SCRIP - The easiest fundraiser we have! Gift cards are awesome to use for yourself as well as to give as birthday gifts, anniversary, teacher appreciation, and Thank You! Purchasing gifts cards through Calvary earns us points! What is Scrip? Great Lakes Scrip Center explains it as "fundraising while you shop". We sell many of the same gift cards you would purchase at retail outlets. Great Lakes Scrip has over 700 of the country's biggest brands: Safeway, Lucky's, Starbucks, Chevron, Arco, Amazon.com, Old Navy, Kohl's, Walmart, Applebee's, Chipotle, Wendy's, Home Depot, and so much more. How it works: We place our orders on Monday mornings (9 a.m.) so that you will receive your cards by the weekend, usually Friday afternoon. NEW You may also shop and place your order online, reload cards, and get e-cards. Benefits: At Calvary Lutheran we offer scrip as a way to reduce your family's annual tuition. A commitment of $3,000 in Scrip purchases will give your family a $100.00 annual tuition discount. A commitment of $5,000 in Scrip purchases will give your family a $200 annual tuition discount. Our Scrip year is May 1 - April 30th. Scrip is available during the summer.
- Should you not reach your commitment you will be charged 10% on the unpurchased balance. - Once all discounts are paid back to the tuition fund, the remaining monies will be used to support school activities.
Who can participate? Everyone!! All families at Calvary Lutheran, friends, extended family are encouraged to purchase Scrip throughout the year. Come into the office during normal school hours and see the church or school secretary, Sundays after service at the information booth too. Cash and Checks are accepted.

Please keep our church and school families in your prayers as many will be on vacation and traveling during the summer break. In addition, please keep those students graduating from CLS, starting high school in the Fall, as well as our new and returning students, and teachers in your prayers as well.
