An Academic Fair in our classrooms An Art Fair in our Administration Building Join us as we celebrate our student scholars and their many achievements.  Tour the campus, visit all the classrooms and enjoy refreshments!  Put your name in our drawing to win one month's free tuition and your student could win a Free Dress or No Homework Pass!    Dining for Dollars - Porky's Pizza! Date:  Tues. Feb. 11th Time:  4pm - 9pm Place:  1221 Manor Blvd, San Leandro Dine-in only, present the flyer (click link to view flyer) when you pay the cashier and Porky's will donate 20% back to Calvary.  Invite your friends and family! Porky's Pizza Flyer   Fellowship Sunday Feb. 9th - Think Pink! Brunch will follow the church service; please bring a salad to share. Coffee and lemonade will be provided by our Fellowship Committee. Fellowship will set up a table with cupcakes and decor so that children may decorate the cupcakes and share with everyone. Yum!   :)   CLS 9th Annual Spelling Bee Winners Kudos to everyone who competed in CLS's Annual Spelling Bee, and congratulations to our winners!  Great Job!! School Champion - Olivia Sally  Grade 6 School Runner Up - Japeth Cruz  Grade 7 The school winner will go to the written semi-finals in Berkeley, and if our winner does well, she will go to the oral finals in San Francisco on March 15, sponsored by KPIX!  Good Luck! Our Grade Lever Winners were:  Ian Ling - 1st, Kaitlyn Ng - 2nd, Maile Kim - 3rd, Ethan Mendoza - 4th, Felipe Delgado - 5th, Olivia Sally - 6th, Japeth Cruz - 7th, Brian Sally & Jacob Bass - 8th TIE   If you own a business or your son or daughter is graduating this year, you may purchase space in our 2013-14 Yearbook!                     Save the Date!!    CLS Dinner & Musical - "Lewis & Clark" Dinner - 5pm - 6:30pm   Friday, April 11th & 12th - tickets on sale soon Scrip for a Trip!  Use eScrip to book your trip and they will donate 7% back to Calvary! Don't forget to stop by the office to pick up some gift cards for the trip, too--we have a great selection.  Valentine's Day is around the corner and you can get a gift card for a great gift, but also a great meal or movie dinner date!

Calvary Club Changes - 1/31/14

Calvary Club Changes                                                                                                                           January 31, 2014   Dear Calvary Club Parents,   In an effort to adapt to a more streamlined process, we will be using a "Time Keeper" system that allows you to check your child in, and check your child out of Calvary Club without the need to sign up for packages.    Beginning February 1st, Calvary Club will no longer provide the packages previously offered.  Utilizing Smart Tuition's Time Keeper application on the computer in Calvary Club, will allow parents to check their child in when they arrive, and check their child out when they need to depart.  There is no need to pay for time not used.  Parents will be billed for the time their child was in Calvary Club, the rate will be $5.00 per hour, prorated by the quarter hour, with a maximum of $35 per day.    We hope that this process provides streamlined ease of checking children in/out, and ease of payment with Smart Tuition's direct billing.    Thank you for your partnership and allowing us to serve you!   Fred E. Lutheran Schools' Week Kick Off - 1/25/14

Greetings! We invite ALL our parents and students to join us for church tomorrow morning at 9am as we kick off National Lutheran Schools' Week!  ALL of our music students -- Choir, Hand Bells and Band -- will sing our new School Theme Song!    Come hear the service, enjoy the fellowship, and sing our Theme Song with us!

School Beautification Jan 31 12:30-3:00

School Beautification                                                                                                                           In preperation of our upcoming Open House we will be having a clean-up party on Friday 1/31 from 12:30-3:00. This is a half day so we are hoping that you will be able to come and stay for a bit when you pick up your child and help spruce up our school. This is another way to get those PPP hours taken care.

Informational meeting for Band members When : Wednesday January 22nd 6pm Where : Band Room                               Agenda :                                                   We will be discussing the Music Program and going over the dates that we have performances already scheduled for, one of them being the Bull's game (3/9/14 2:30pm game time) at which we are going to be performing the National Anthem. Hopefully all band members and at least one parent/guardian will be able to attend.
