Halloween Extravanganza & Costume Parade
Tomorrow Sat. Oct. 27th | 
| | The SLZ Homeowner's Association is sponsoring a Halloween Parade and Extravaganza, tomorrow Sat. Oct 27th. Meet at the SLZ Community Church (945 Paseo Grande) @ 9:30am. The parade will begin @ 10am, and costumed children will march to the Library Parking Lot. Festival and games will begin @ 10:30am. Calvary will have a booth with a bean bag toss game with candy & prizes! Come on out in your kid-friendly costume and have fun spreading the word about our awesome school! |
| Box Top Winner for the 1st Quarter |  | | The class with the most box tops for the 1st Quarter is 1st & 2nd Grade with 518 box tops! Great Job! They will receive a Free Dress Coupon to be used on Friday, Nov 2nd.
The other classes placed as follows:
2nd Place - 3rd & 4th Grade with 322 box tops.
3rd Place - 7th & 8th Grade with 300 box tops.
4th Place - 5th & 6th Grade with 200 box tops.
5th Place - Kindergarten with 142 box tops.
Thank you all for turning in your box tops and making a our school a "winner." We will receive a check for $241 in December and the funds will go toward our School Picnic at the end of the year.

| | Secret Sisters - New Group Starting |  | | It's not too late if you would like to be a part of this fun group for ladies 18 years & up. You can pick up a card in the office and fill it out, and you will given the name of a "sister" and a sister will be given your name. Your sister will pray for you and send you cards or small gifts, and you can pray for and uplift your sister. In Spring, the Secret Sisters will meet for a Meal & Reveal! |

| The class that turned in the most Labels for Education is the 5th & 6th Grade with 500 points! They will receive a home-baked treat! Way to go! 2nd Place - 1st & 2nd Grade with 344 points. 3rd Place - 3rd & 4th Grade with 220 points. 4th Place - 7th & 8th Grade with 10 points. Thank you to everyone for collecting those labels! These points will be used to buy school supplies from Labels for Education. |

| | Fresh & Easy Receipts
|  | Don't forget to keep any Fresh & Easy receipt totaling $20 or more.
For every receipt with at least $20, we receive a $1.
If you spend $100, we receive $5. It's an easy way to get your groceries, and help our school.
We will be collecting receipts until Dec. 31st! Turn in your receipts to your child's teacher or put them in the collection box in the school office.

| | Fresh & Easy Shopping Night
|  | | Wed. November 15th will be Calvary's own special Shopping Night from 4pm - 8pm.
Sign up in the office to help collect receipts from shoppers and bring your student in his/her uniform to help collect receipts and bag groceries.
Tell your friends and family to come in and buy their Thanksgiving groceries during our special night, and we get 20% back!
