Miss Katie Mellon   Originally from Connecticut, Katie moved to the West Coast to take a break from the long cold winters with multiple feet of snow. After graduating in 2010 from Keene State College in New Hampshire with a degree in Elementary Education and a degree in Music for Elementary teachers, she moved to Boston and worked for three years as an assistant in a first and second grade classroom. During her time in Boston, Katie earned her Masters of Education in May 2013 from Lesley University in Curriculum and Instruction specializing in integrating the arts.     Katie enjoys reading, knitting and running. Traveling is a new interest of hers and she hopes to see more and more of the country as her family and friends begin to spread from the East Coast. She is looking forward to exploring the Bay area and hopes to get a dog soon.
